James Tye, Clean Lakes Alliance of Dane County
James Tye is the Director of Development & External affairs for the Clean Lakes Alliance. He previously ran his own business in media and marketing. James has worked at Capital Newspapers and Downtown Madison, Inc. He founded the Madison non profit business group OPEN (Out Professional Executive Network), and has been on several other non-profit boards including GSAFE, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Taliesin Preservation, Inc. and the Overture Community Advisory Board.. He is a life-long resident of Madison and grew up swimming, waterskiing and sailing on Lake Mendota.
The Clean Lakes Alliance (CLA) is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization dedicated to the improvement and protection of the lakes, streams and wetlands in the Yahara Watershed. Through community support, advocacy
and education, CLA is leading the charge to restore and protect the lakes for future generations.
